Ryuuren Li was the father of Syaoran Li and the husband of Ielan Li. He is never mentioned by name in Cardcaptor Sakura as he is currently deceased. Nonetheless, the revelation of his and Amamiya Nadeshiko's involvement with the Dark Ones becomes a major plotline in New Trials of Cardcaptor Sakura and Friends. He plays the violin well.
